i've read on many occasions that hair grows at a speed of about 1/2 inch every month. but for nails i am not to sure... i think its like... 1/8 inch a month.





Although another information source told me that at certain times such at hormonal changes they will grow faster. (pregnancy, menstruation, and so on.)





Also if you don't have a very good diet and are lacking specific vitamins then growth of your nails can slow. Also it's a fact that after the age of 30 your nails grow slower.
