What is the length of the nails use for installing baseboard. What electric nailgun is better to use?

Typically you see a finish nail in the 1 1/2'; to 2'; size.

I have no experience with electric nail guns but you might try this site:

Depends on the thickness of baseboards as the sizes differ. You need at least an inch of plus the thickness of baseboard to fasten it properly. Some guns let you choose the depth to which you can shot nails but in this case it doesn鈥檛 matter. For one job a gun is not worth having but if you want I鈥檇 advise to search for gas or electric like dewalt nail gun. They are brilliant and eliminate cables but very expensive. It is only worth it if you want to stack up on dewalt series of which the nail gun is but one of toolsWhat is the length of the nails use for installing baseboard. I would use 1 1/2'; to 2'; nails. I have an electric nail gun (brand x) and works like a champ. It will jamb once in a while but is easy to fix. Be careful when this happens, because if you take it apart to get to the jamb the pieces will want to spring out. I lost a piece and now the thing will keep firring when you trigger the gun. Makes you have to be quick with your finger and a bit dangerous.
2'; since the wall is 5/8'; and the base is 1/2 and you need an inch into the sill. Forget the electric, use an air gun. Rent the compressor and the gun.
1 1/2'; nails, molding + drywall + 1/2'; of bite to the stud.

I've been using a porter cable pneumatic finish nailer for the past five years with no problems.
I use a brad nailer with 1-1/2'; brads. You need to adjust the pressure of the gun for the material. I have shot brads all the way through wood at 100 pounds pressure. I stay about 80.
