How do I stop my cat from chewing his new soft nails?

I wish I could help you, but from experience my cats and I hate those things.


They are a big irrritant to the cat and it is so much easier to get the cat to allow you to clip its nails, and do that once per month, then try to force it to wear those things. Not to mention what you go through trying to get them on. No worse than learning how to clip the cat nails with a pair of clippers.

there is a spray called bitter end that contains capsaicin (what makes things spicy)


however, it did not work for my cat, an excessive licker.


you can also try hot sauce, preferably really spicy
