Do real gel nails turn yellow if you tan?

i know acrylic does. just curious if gel ones do to.Do real gel nails turn yellow if you tan?
Some acrylic nails will yellow. It depends on the quality of the acrylic products which were used on your nails. Many of the cheaper, low grade acrylics do turn yellow with exposure to UV light, such as from the sun or from tanning beds. But, a top quality acrylic product has a tendency to resist yellowing. Also, there are UV topcoats available which will help prevent yellowing of acrylic nails from exposure to UV light.

About gel nails yellowing: For the most part, real UV gel nails will not yellow from exposure to the sun, or from tanning booths either. Again, the quality of the product will determine whether they yellow, or not. But most UV nail gels are resistant to yellowing due to the molecular structure of gel nails. Some will yellow - yes, but most will not provided they are made from top quality gel products.

I hope this helps!Do real gel nails turn yellow if you tan?
Yeah...get some barrier cream, nail cuffs...sold at tanning salons. Or, you can get solar nails...they will not turn yellow. you can also get ';no yellow'; applied as a top coat to artificial nails that will keep them from turning.
