I have a 3 yr old healthy boxer and today I noticed on top of some of his nails he has blood inside of them. It looks dark red. I touch them but it doesn't seem to hurt him. That's suppose to be there. It's called the ';quick.'; If you do trim your dog's nails, do not cut into the quick or it'll bleed.
