How can I get acrylic nails off?

would soaking it in house hold nail polish remover work? um also i'm trying that currently...and its turning my nails blue...maybe thats because the color of the polish remover is blue. Should I be worried? How can I get acrylic nails off?
Its ok but will stain your nails but if thats all you have it should work. Have a orange wood stick or something that you can scrap the acyrlic because you need to break the seal and break down the acyrlic. It will be messy but its worth it. I'm glad you are soaking them off instead of biting them off. yuk. You'll also need a file to file the acrylic. If you feel some heat that means you are either filing to hard or you are getting closer to your real nail. Once you get them all off your nails will seem dried out. Wash you hands really good, apply a clear polish and then a good hand cream. How can I get acrylic nails off?
I removed mine by soaking them in nail polish remover. It took forever to get them all off! But they did come off with no pain. If you don't want to wait for them to come off, just go to the salon and get them to take them off.
dont be worried about that .but I dk if it will work. If you go to the salon where they did it, they usually take them off for free. Also Dont pick them off your self, you will ruin your nails! good luck!
Soaking them in pure acetone is the most effective method of removing acrylic nails. Nail polish remover is not the way to go. Pure acetone...
Just like the others have said so far all you need to do is soak them in an acetone based nail polish remover.
go to ur salon or grow them out

  1. Acrylic nails SHOULD be removed by a professional to make sure you don't damage the natural nail. If you must do them at home, soak in Acetone polish remover. They will slowly dissolve. Lightly buff off any residual product left on the nails.
