There had a plastic coating that looked like a french manicure, and they fell into the bowl, and now the plastic coating is all wrinkly!

Other advice: it isn't being FAKE.. be YOURSELF. and if you want them done.. then get them done!
My mom has no thyroid due to cancer and her nails are so short they look like they burn.. and it's because of no thyroid so to respond to the person above me, some people have no choice but to get acrylics done to feel good about themselves.
You could try buffing them.. not filing.. just buffing, then go over it with white nail polish and redo them. Or go to a salon and have them fix it! Good luckMy acrylic nails fell into a bowl of nail polish remover!?
