Is there a way to get my french tip nails off?

i had them done a few weeks ago and they are growing out. i dont want to get them filled in; i just want them off. some people said you /have/ to go back to get them taken off professionally. true? if not; then ideas? Is there a way to get my french tip nails off?
If they are acrylic nails, you can try soaking your nails in an acetone based nail polish remover, and when the nails soften, gently pushing them off with a manicure stick. The idea is to put as little pressure on the natural nail bed as possible to cause the least amount of damage. You can also just let them grow off, and keep shortening them. If they are gel nails, I think you have to have that type removed at the salon. Is there a way to get my french tip nails off?
its true, sorry.
I would clip them first, then use 100% acetone nail polish remover from Wal-mart and pour some in a bowl and soak each hand for about 3 Min's, than they should be able to come off, with no problem.
u can go to a drugstore or sallys and buy pure acetone remover, follow the directions...u will put the acetone in a bowl and fill a big bowl with hot boiling water..put the acetone bowl in the hot water bowl and soak...this is what they do in the salons..but it is a lot cheaper
I just take them from the back and rip them off. It won't feel pleasant, but it's fast and free lol.
get them taken off professionally, you dont want to wreck ur nails underneath more than they are already. If you dont wanna wait then get some professional style stuff from a drug store or supermarket.
Rip 'em off like you mean it!
You can soak them off in acetone. It will take a little while but they should wipe off. Put a glass bowl with acetone in it into a larger bowl with hot water in it, put your nails in the acetone and put a towel over them for about 5 minutes. Take them out and wipe the soft nail off then repeat until you have them all off.
No thats not your only option. You can go to any beauty supply store, Wal-mart or Kmart even, and purchase ';artificial nail remover';. Its not like regular polish remover. Its in a jar so you can soak your tips off. I do this often.
yes that is true
coffee
Well you don't dont nessisarily have to get the professionally removed. You could try biting them off ir even ( though this might hurt ) you could try pulling them off or putting them in water or nail polish remover for a while.
Soak your fingers in baby oil or nail polish remover.
Go to Sally's beauty supply and buy some pure acetone remover, follow the directions and the tips will come right off.
